Hi, I don't know who the other 3 youths are but the 3rd one from the left is my father. Camillus (Kay) Slone. Son of Miles (M) Marvin and Ada Lee Slone of Knott County Ky. Born May 26, 1915
Yes the man the third from the left is my wonderful late grandpa camillus slone.. he was a wonderful and loving man.. i miss him so much.. My mom was his oldest daugheter Brenda Kay Slone Pierce.
Actually, I think everyone means that Camillus is the third one to the right. If you move to the right, facing the picture, Uncle Kay (Camillus) is the third person.
And I am not for sure, but the small kid on the far end, being the First person on the far left of the picture looks like Clyde Slone, Camillus's younger brother.
James, thank you for clarifying what I was trying to say. Yes the third young man to the right as you look at the page is indeed Camillus Slone.. The oldest of of Miles M. and Ada Lee Slone's children.
I was so excited to see my father there that my trying to explain which one he was kind of got confused. Thanks James, my cousin for straightening out this.
What a rare find!! The young boy to the far left, wearing the cap is Clyde Slone, brother of Camillus Slone, who is also in the picture and is the second person down from him. Their parents were Miles M. Slone, son of Alexander and Martha (Sizemore) Slone and Ada Lee Slone, daughter of Perry and Arminda Slone. This picture was taken circa 1928 in Knott County KY. Our family has a group picture of Camillus and Clyde wearing the same clothes and it appears that this picture was taken on or about the same day as the group picture.

In answer to your question Casey, our family orginated from Knott County, Kentucky in the Eastern section of the State where there are a large number of Slones consisting of different tribes. None of the names you mentioned ring a bell for me at all. However, if your relatives came from Knott County, then there may be some relation.
