  6. Hi David
Yes I know about Verna Mae's book. I have a signed copy.
Kitteneye was her father. My grandpa, (Frank) Morrel Slone was
Verna Mae's brother. Verna Mae died back in Jan, 2009. I had just
went to visit her last summer. She was reciting poerty that she had just written. I sure wished I had wrote it down.

  11. My Grandmother was Lovell Slone. She was the daughter of I.B. and Dallie Slone and the sister of Dennis Slone. I remember when I was a very little girl, I spent the night with Dallie. She had very long hair and lived in a big white house. I believe, the house still stands just outside of Hindman,KY.

Lovell married Andrew Edwards of Dwarf, KY. I am the daughter of their youngest son, Bobby Nelson Edwards who married Linda Lou Beam.

  12. Hi , my great grandmother is Celinda Thornsberry Slone, I have recently been researching my family tree and I couldn’t narrow down who was Celine’s mother either Rachel or Rebecca, both were listed as her mother. Seeing this page let me know Rebecca is her mother and I can further my research. Thank you so much our family is a true blessing
